NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An investigation is underway Friday afternoon after a shooting victim flagged down an ambulance at the corner of 21st Avenue and Edgehill Avenue.
The man had reportedly been shot as many as four times when he sought help just before 1 p.m., Metro police spokesperson Kristin Mumford said.
She said the shooting occurred on Baldwin Court, off Whites Creek Pike north of Nashville, and the victim was driven to 21st Avenue and Edgehill Avenue where he found the ambulance.
The victim was taken to nearby Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
His name was not immediately known.
