SPRING HILL, Tenn. - A mid-state law enforcement officer is accused of assaulting a woman this weekend.

Williamson County Sheriff's Deputy Garrett Wells was arrested Saturday morning in Spring Hill, after police responded to a fight at Big Al's Bar and Grill on Kedron Rd.

Wells is also charged with damaging property.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
